Edward, a member of the Hanson family, first worked as a fund manager when he co-managed a fund at New Star Asset Management in the UK All-Companies Sector that won the Lipper Citywire All-Stars Fund Manager in 2004. He has served as the CIO of Hanson Family Holdings and represented the family’s interests on the boards of several operating companies around the world.He was a co-founder and joint Managing Director of Hanson Asset Management which transitioned to Arlington Capital. In addition, in 2018 Edward became CEO of Earth Capital, a global sustainable private equity business managing in excess of $1.5 billion. At Earth Capital, he combined being a member of the global investment committee with overseeing global operations before leaving to concentrate full time on his role at Arlington.

Chris founded Jordan Buchanan Ltd which has been involved in the raising of over £500 million for start-up funds. Jordan Buchanan was fundamental to the successful launch of funds managed by Iveagh and Quilter Cheviot.Prior to this, his career has included caddying on the European Tour, working as a flying doctor, running an ICU unit and working for one of Australia’s largest management consultancy companies.Away from work, Chris is currently attempting to get his golf handicap down to close (or fairly close to) the levels he achieved in his teens plus assisting his daughter in the production of an army of increasingly sophisticated Lego robots.

Hugh Beaumont
Hugh has worked in financial services for 40 years, primarily as an independent financial adviser and then during the past 10 years as a strategic adviser to the wealth management sector, primarily developing and promoting retail multi-asset and equity funds through international financial advisers.Hugh drove Jordan Buchanan’s highly successful asset raising for Quilter Cheviot managed funds’Additionally, Hugh has been a property investor since 1983 and since 2019 has been actively involved developing commercial and private property in the North East of England as part of a syndicate of private property investors. Finally, Hugh is a founding stakeholder in AM2 Centres that provide AM2 assessments for electricians in the construction sector.
